  • Growth House, Inc. - A site with resources for life-threatening illness and end of life issues; including hospice and home care, palliative care, pain management, death with dignity, bereavement and more. Note: If you utilize the Growth House search engine, below, merely click on the "Back" button of your web browser to return to this page.
  • Grief Resources - Collected resources on grief and bereavement. This site was created by a father as a memorial to his son. There are also links to many, touching online memorials. Some of the pages on this site take a while to load to your computer screen, however it is well worth the time.

  • Bereavement & Hospice Support Netline - Includes links to National Bereavement Organizations (also organized by state), professional organizations as well as an area of links to other related sites.
  • Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death (M.E.N.D.) - A Christian not-for-profit corporation reaching out to those who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death and offer a way to share experiences and information through meetings, a bimonthly newsletter, and their website.
  • The Compassionate Friends - A national not-for-profit organization that reaches out to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. Seasoned grievers reaching out to the newly bereaved; during this connection both are helped to heal. Look below for a link to their chat room
  • The American Renaissance Alliance - with the goal of re-awakening more Americans to the principles of non-violence and the need to infuse spiritual values into our political system.
  • Teen Age Grief (T.A.G.) - A collection of links put together by T.A.G.; an organization of educational and support programs to empower grieving teens and children with life skills essential for healthy coping with the loss of a loved one. Be certain to visit other pages in this informational site.
  • National Funeral Directors Association - has put together a collection of links to caregiving resources including the American Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Institute and Association for Death Education.

  • BJB Geriatric/Educational Services - Publish guides for providing therapeutic care to individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementia-causing diseases, as well as providing elder care services and educational seminars.

  • Online book store at Growth House - A collection of books on all aspects of life-threatening illness, bereavement, death with dignity, palliative care, hospice and home care and other related end of life issues.
  • Marianne Williamson - A collection of powerfully inspiring books and tapes. Information regarding Marianne's lectures are also available at this site.

  • Growth House Chat Room - Offering scheduled programming on end of life issues as well as a place for casual conversation.
  • The Compassionate Friends Chat Room - This link takes you to their chat schedule and online conduct agreement form. At the bottom of the agreement form is a link into the Chat Room.
  • Men's Grief - a non-monitored online conference, a private forum where men can share their concerns, beliefs, wounds and insights. Men's Grief is hosted by the Bereavement Education Center.
  • Kids Aid - A safe place for kids to share and help each other deal with grief about any of their losses. Kids can also share pictures as well as stories. There are also occasional games and contests. Kids Aid is: 2 Kids, By Kids, 4 Kids.
  • Grief Support News Groups - This link will take you to Deja News (a large database of online newsgroups.) Once arriving at the page that this link takes you to: In the "Browse Groups" area type in the name of the grief support group you want into the "Group:" box (alt.support.grief OR alt.support.grief.pet-loss) then click the "Browse" button to the immediate right of that box. This will take you the area where you can choose to read the posted messages from that group or post your own message to the group.

  • What's New - This link will take you to the subscription page for a free, monthly newsletter covering noteworthy resources for terminal illness, hospice care, palliative medicine, bereavement and other end life issues. The newsletter is produced by Growth House, Inc.

  • Concerned Counseling, Inc. - A link to the request form for their free, weekly newsletter, which includes: interviews, stories, tips, for good mental health, their weekly website events and a few good jokes to bring a smile to your face.
  • Healing of America Discussion Board - Link to a discussion board with conversation on the ultimate tearing apart of the American vision from American politics, and efforts to begin repairing the wounds. Discussion following topics covered in Marianne Williamson's book, The Healing of America.
